COVID-19 Preparedness & Response

Governor Mike DeWine and the Ohio Department of Health confirmed the fifth case of COVID-19 in Ohio this afternoon.   Governor DeWine has restricted public gatherings of more than 100 people and closed all K-12 schools from March 17 – April 3.  At this time, there are no confirmed cases in Clermont County, however, we need to prepare plans to protect our employees, their families, and our communities as well as continue essential services to the public.

We have been coordinating with all of the local public safety agencies since the initial stages of this outbreak.  We will continue to provide support and coordination as we continue respond, recover and mitigate this public health emergency.  We are asking that all agencies, departments, and elected officials review/update their continuity of operation plans. The Ohio Department of Health has released specific guidance for Employers and Businesses in response to COVID-19.
