UTTV

UTTV LogoUnion Township Television was created to provide a venue for local residents to exercise their First Amendment right of free speech and explore their creativity by creating programs that will be of interest to other township residents. UTTV also tapes and broadcasts township and West Clermont Local School Board meetings, as well as many township events, like the annual Police Night Out and Lantern Lighting Ceremony events, and summer concerts.

This is not a new concept for Union Township. For more than 10 years, we partnered with Anderson Township to offer the same opportunities. With the move of UTTV to Union Township Fire Station 51 in 2006, we officially opened with our new studio and went live.

UTTV will train you on camera, lighting and editing to produce your own video. We will also lend you equipment and studio time - all at no charge. We accept videos you create for airing on UTTV. Among these are many weekly local church service programs.

Filming UTTVFor those who don't want to produce a program on their own, we have volunteer opportunities available, particularly in the summer, when we tape the free Summer Concert Series at the Amphitheatre.

Since collaboration and partnership are at the heart of our station, we work with our internal departments, as well as outside organizations, to produce other interesting and informative programs. We have worked with the Clermont Chamber of Commerce, the Clermont County League of Women Voters, UC Health Air and Mobile Care, local artists, and a locally renowned chef. In doing so, we have won many local awards and one national award.

If you feel the creative itch, or if you already have a programming idea you want to explore, don't hesitate to call Justin Hawthorne, at 513-947-7327.

UTTV can be viewed on Spectrum channels 8 and 15.
