Senior Services

Clermont Senior Services Inc. has been a welcome partner of Union Township since the opening of the Civic Center in 2004. In drawing up the original plans of the new Civic Center, the Union Township Board of Trustees recognized the importance of providing space for the ever-increasing activities Senior Services offers to our senior residents, both township- and county-wide.

Located in the north end of the building, the center has a reception area, offices, and two large activity rooms. From this center, workshops, classes, lectures, meetings and day trips are offered daily, making it a veritable focal point of activity in Union Township.

In keeping with its mission to improve the quality of life for older adults by providing a broad range of home and community-based services, Clermont Senior Services Inc. enhances its menu of home and health care services through its Lifelong Learning Center, where seniors can indulge any interests they may have. From gardening to line dancing, painting to chess, computer and photography, and from day trips to tax tips - and just about everything in between - the Lifelong Learning Center offers such a variety of programs, it is hard to choose which one might interest you most. In fact, the center is so popular that about 200 people a week are in and out, said George Brown, executive director of the agency.

If you are age 55 or older, there is a whole new world awaiting you at Clermont Senior Services Inc.
