Board of Trustees

Lloyd Acres

 

Lloyd Acres was elected to the Union Township Board of Trustees in November, 2013, taking office Jan. 1, 2014. This is his first term and he serves as vice-chairman of the board for 2014.

Mr. Acres has been a resident of the township since 1959, with the exception of six years spent working in Columbus, Ohio, as plant manager of a manufacturing facility. Mr. Acres spent 39 years in manufacturing and also served as a quality manager.

Mr. Acres is a graduate of Glen Este High School and is currently employed as the purchasing agent for a construction company located in Union Township.

Mr. Acres and his wife, Faye, have been married 38 years and have two sons. They are members of the First Baptist Church of Glen Este.

Matthew Beamer

Matthew Beamer was appointed to the Board of Trustees in April 2006 and was elected to his first full term in November 2007.  He was re-elected in November 2011, to another four year term.

Mr. Beamer, a life-long resident of Union Township, is a graduate of Gleneste High School and has a bachelors degree in accounting from Thomas More College, as well as an associates degree in business management.  He is a certified financial planner by trade and is employed by Coordinated Financial Planning Corp.  In a voluntary capacity, he served seven years on the Union Township Board of Zoning Appeals, serving as vice chairman on three occasions. He was part of the township Land Use Plan committee in 2001, and actively supported the Safety Services Levy in 2002.  He is an active member of the JB Covert Lodge 437 and the Scottish Rite, Valley of Cincinnati, as well as a past president of the Eastgate Family Council and past Secretary of the Blue Ash Kiwanis.

Mr. Beamer is the son of Ronald L. and Jo Ann Beamer and the brother of Jodi, Barry, and the late Randy Beamer.

John McGraw

 

John McGraw was elected to the Union Township Board of Trustees in November, 2013, taking office Jan. 1, 2014. This is his first term and he currently serves as chairman of the board.

Mr. McGraw is a graduate of Deer Park High School and received a bachelor’s degree in liberal arts, with a minor in business administration, from Xavier University, graduating cum laude.

His career of 27 years has been in business management and he is currently employed in transportation logistics.

Mr. McGraw is a member of the Willowville Elementary PTO and Archbishop McNicholas High School PTSA. He is an ASA certified coach with the Cincy Statc 96 Fastpitch team.

He and his wife, Angie, have four children: Meaghan, Tyler, Jordan and Mitchell, and are members of St. Andrew Church in Milford.
